About Pat Georger...
Pat has been performing, recording and composing for over twenty-five years. From jazz-rock fusion to R&B, to Latin-Jazz and everything in between, Pat's played it all. The son of a jazz musician and former music store owner, music runs thick through the veins of the Georger clan. Pat was introduced at an early age to a heavy diet of Bill Evans, Paul Desmond, Stan Getz, Cannonball Adderly, Oscar Peterson, and many others. His notable performances and recordings include dates with John Patitucci, Ronnie Laws, Regina Carter, Dave Valentin, Alex Acuna, Othello Molineaux, Kenwood Dennard, Humberto Ramirez, William Cepeda, Johnny Lytle, Joe Romano, Roy Hargrove, Chris Tedesco, Sherman Robertson, Jimmy Griswold and Clay Aiken, as well as a number of local recordings. In 1993 Pat won Best R&B Keyboardist at the Buffalo Music Awards. Pat is currently the keyboardist for J.J. SWING--(www.jjswing.com), Wendell Rivera's Latin Jazz Ensemble-- (www.wendellrivera.com) just started playing recently with The Vincent James Explosion (VJX)-- (www.thevincentjamesexplosion.com), does freelance work in and around Western New York (Buffalo/Niagara) and is owner/president of Hamburg Music Center, Inc. (www.hamburgmusic.com).
